In 1976, I started a home-based custom window treatment business, which allowed me to remain at home with my children. From the outset, most of my business was by word of mouth, and clients receive beginning-to-end services.
With my assistance, clients select fabrics and styles in the convenience of their homes. All fabrication is sewed by me, while installations are done by my expert installer.
There are no hidden fees, no markups on subcontractors, and no miscommunications between designer, work room, and/or installer, as occurs with larger firms. My clients receive an excellent product in a timely manner at a fair price.
Fabrications are available for almost any type of window treatment - draperies, curtains, sheers, swags and jabots, a wide variety of top treatments. Also available is bedding - comforters, bedspreads, duvets, shams, pillows and bed skirts. Additional items include shower curtains, table cloths, table runners, seat cushions, and bench pads.
Over the years I have developed experience sewing for companies such as Sears, Ethan Allen, David's Furniture, Fabric Gallery, Bennington Interiors, Custer Design, and several independent designers.
If you are interested in hard treatments, I provide Hunter Douglas, B & W Manufacturing, and Kirsch. Hard treatments include, but not limited to, miniblinds, pleated shades, cellular shades, wood blinds, verticals, Silhouettes ®, Luminettes ®, roller shades, Roman shades, and shutters.
I have gotten to know other small businesses in related trades and can recommend people who do upholstering, wallpapering, faux painting, flooring, and paint, to name a few.
Please feel free to contact me when you are interested in new window treatments and accessories for your home. Thank you for checking out my web site.
